Terms of Service
Last updated August 6, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the OnSite General Contracting website and services (the “Platform”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- Contractors must provide valid licensing and insurance and keep this information current.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Our role in the marketplace
OnSite is a platform that connects property owners with independent contractors and provides estimating tools. Contractors are not employees or agents of OnSite. The contract for any work is between the property owner and the contractor. We are not a party to that contract and do not perform the construction work ourselves.
4. Estimates and bids
Estimates generated on the Platform, including those produced with Amanda, are good-faith projections based on the information provided and are not guarantees of final price. Bids submitted by contractors are offers subject to the final agreement between the parties.
5. Payments
Payments made through the Platform are processed by third-party payment providers and may be released against project milestones. You agree to pay applicable amounts and fees. Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks are handled according to the applicable project terms and our support process.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Circumventing the Platform to avoid fees, verification, or protections.
- Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users.
- Uploading unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
- Interfering with, scraping, or attempting to disrupt the Platform’s security or operation.
7. Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, and you grant OnSite a license to use it as needed to operate the Platform. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnSite is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts, omissions, or work quality of independent contractors or property owners.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for violations of these Terms or to protect users. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the changes.
